“Affirmation Cards” Instructions
March 16, 2011 by admin
This project is simple.
Write a one-word statement that fits the theme of “affirmation.” This should be a word that inspires, encourages, uplifts or any of those other sweet and hippie sounding things.
Paste or write that word on the front of the card — feel free to do any background patterns you like.
In the double spread of the card’s interior — you are free to expand upon the idea of your affirmation in any two dimensional way — any medium, words, poems, quotes, clippings, drawings, etc are cool.
On the back is your sign in page. Put your name… a blurb about who you are… and a blurb about what inspires you.
If you are confused, send a note to phil@philipstephen.com and I will explain more.
Otherwise, look at the samples of past month Affirmations for inspiration.

“Months” Instructions
February 27, 2011 by admin
The Months project was created by Keith.
In this project you get a small piece of wood that you etch on using a wood burning tool. One side should display the Name of the Month. The other side is a representation of what that month means to you. Each person creates the month that it is when the project comes to them.
