Sustainability Leadership Certificate

The SLC is training a new kind of leader: A strategist who sees challenges within a broad systems perspective; An innovator who can imagine, plan and take action to develop a more sustainable world; A facilitator that inspires and enables others to do good work.

The Sustainability Leadership Certificate has been created through a partnership between RBC, College of Sustainability at Dalhousie University, and COLAB.  The program supports aspiring leaders to develop their confidence in working with complexity through personal leadership, storytelling, skills for collaboration, and community action projects.

Participants learn how to lead change for environmental, economic, and social sustainability:

  • Practical skills, tools and confidence to lead and inspire change

  • Practice participatory facilitation, group leadership, prototyping, and systems thinking

  • Turn ideas into action by designing and implementing hands-on projects that meet real needs
